Hello! My name is Ali Golchin and as a result of being born prematurely at 6 months old, I suffer from the condition Cerebral Palsy (CP). This has meant that I have been confined to a wheelchair for most of my life and therefore it has been my lifelong dream to one day be able to walk unaided and gain my independence.

I have been undergoing experimental treatment in Iran since December 2017 that would help me to achieve my dream. Until this point, the treatment has been able to get myself out of the confines of a wheelchair to the stage where I am starting to learn to walk with the assistance of crutches. This leads me to believe that the treatment will give me the ability walk in some capacity.

The treatment is expensive and I'm sadly getting to the stage where I'm running out of funds to continue. Judging by my current progress, I am certain that I would be able to walk unaided by early to mid 2019, if I am able to continue the treatment. However, this would require funding of up to £5000 to be able to do so. I hope that through your generosity, I will finally be able to walk and gain my independence.
