This will be my 5th visit to Love for All children's rescue centre in Nakuru, Kenya, and I will staying from the end of July to the beginning of October. During my time with them I get involved in many activities including teaching, child protection cases, organising activity days for the children, community work and visits and much more! I have never seen as much love as I see when I visit this project, and with Love for All catering for 300 children, as well as offering support to the local community they are in need of lots of help to ensure that the work that they do can continue.

The centre has recently been forced to move onto a new site which is extremely basic and in need of lots of work; they currently have no water or electricity, no toilets, and a lack of classrooms. There is also a need for fencing to be constructed around the site, for the current classroom floors to be cemented as well as a new kitchen and dorm for the orphans to be built. In addition to this, there is always the constant struggle to provide food and the basic necessities.

I am hoping to raise a significant amount of money before I arrive in July to ensure that a positive impact can be made this summer and so that those who receive support from the centre can continue to do so. Without the support received from Love for All many of these children would be on the streets without homes or unable to access education, food, or love - things that we take for granted. Any donations would be extremely appreciated and would go far in making such a difference to the lives of many children based in Rhonda slum this summer!
