Georgina and Wayne married in May 2005. After IVF treatment their son , Connor, was born on 13 August 2009. 3 great, happy years went by. They had IVF once more and Connor's brother was born in February 2013. In March 2013 test results showed Connor has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Duchenne is a progressive muscle wasting disease caused from.a defective gene that produces muscle protein located on the x chromosome. It effects 1 in 3,500, mainly boys, diagnosed by the age of 5.

There are many problems along the way, for example:

- possible learning difficulites, cognitive difficulties, loss of muscle mass weakness, inflammation, decreased heart function, weakened diaphragm, requiring a ventilator in teens, confined to a wheelchair by 10 and most dont survive their mid 20s.

The Government do not fund drugs or research for rare diseases, so families have to.
