Story
I am doing a sponsored abseil of the Europa Hotel Belfast on Sunday 24th September 2017 in order to raise some much needed funds for Support 2gether.
Support 2gether are a small charity based in Omagh, Co Tyrone and are the only charity in Northern Ireland who provide support to families suffering antenatal & postnatal depression. Mothers and/or families receive support through one to one talking therapy sessions, private counselling, mindfulness, coaching and alternative therapies such as reflexology. The charity also aim to empower families by educating them on this illness.
This is a very much needed service within our local community as 1 in 10 mothers and 1 in 25 fathers suffer with postnatal depression. This illness can go undiagnosed for a number of months, which I have myself experienced.
Support 2gether has given me a great deal of support over the past 10 months and now I want to give a little back to them to help them continue to carry out the fantastic work they do in our local community. Please help me to achieve this. Any donation received will be greatly appreciated.
