Story
The Clarendon Way walk
For those of you who would like to raise sponsorship for the walk - The Green Diamond Club team will be doing the Clarendon Way walk (24 miles) to raise funding for a new walker for Michaela Dickinson (Peter Hammond’s granddaughter, who has cerebral palsy) on Saturday 30th September. We are needing to raise £2500 for a new Rifton Pacer gait trainer (walker) for Michaela as her current one needs replacing, and unfortunately equipment such as this is no longer funded by the NHS due to budget cuts.
The walker helps to maintain Michaela's mobility, bone density and muscle development and allows her some independence which is so important to her overall well-being.
