Last year, unfortunately but inevitably, like so many others, a family member very close to me needed quick assistance from A&E and without them it would have been a very different story today. We cannot fault the level of professionalism, respect and care that gets given at the times we need it most and I truly believe the staff go above and beyond past their duties to offer reassurance when we have little hope.

To show my own appreciation and gratitude for their support, I will spend my 28th birthday walking 28.28 miles around Wick in effort to raise funds for our deeply deserving and worthy local cause.

So please join me in supporting this cause and making this event as successful as possible by donating any amount big or small.

The walk will take place on Thursday the 3rd of February bright and early and i will set off from the hospital around 7am!
