1 in 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage, this is an unfortunate but very true statistic.

Most women who have been through a miscarriage find it hard to deal with the pain, grief and loss of their unborn baby.

What makes it worse is seeing healthy baby's and healthy pregnancies around you at a time of such upset.

The Royal Surrey County Hospital is fundraising to build a new seperate unit for women suffering with a miscarriage, an area dedicated for these women going through this hard time.

After recently suffering a miscarriage myself the hardest part was going back to the EPAU and seeing pregnancies and baby's all around me, it made me question why me? What did I do to deserve this? Why couldn't I be one of those happy ladies around me? Each time I went back I dreaded having to go back and see it all over again.

If everyone on my Facebook alone could spare just a pound I'd have more than my target set. Which would be a brilliant donation towards a new specific unit.

I hope it never comes to a time where you would need to access this part of the hospital, but if you did I know I wouldn't like you to have to be surrounded by healthy babies and pregnancies and questioning yourself as to why this happened to you.
