To begin with, I will be trekking through West Uganda in search of a group of rare silverback gorillas who are greatly declining in population. Following this, we will partner with Ugandan builders in order to create an exciting, stimulating and fulfilling playground for children at a local school. Whilst carrying out this maintenance work, me and the other volunteers will be running programmes centered around play and creativity to enhance the young children's experience.

I am hoping to take part in various fundraising activities so that I can reach my target goal of £2000. The money raised will be used to go towards the playground, food and amenities whilst on the trip but most importantly for the charity itself.
