I am travelling to Cambodia with my school and volunteering to work in the community. The expedition provides a unique opportunity to explore new cultures, experience different ways of life and make a difference. We will be making a contribution to community development and environmental conservation initiatives in the less fortunate regions in which we work.
The work will directly benefit the community: whether it be helping to dig foundations for a classroom, collecting rubbish to be recycled, or planting trees, the input will change the locals’ lives, one day at a time.
