In September, a team will be going to represent Scotland at the KWF World Championships, which are taking place in Malta. I have the amazing opportunity to be able to go to this event, which will take place over 4 days. The reason I have decided to go is due to the encouragement I received from my Granda Murray, who many of my close friends and family will know has just lost his hard fought battle with cancer. To honour his memory (and desire for me to go), I aim to raise funds for both myself and, more importantly, MacMillan nurses, who played a crucial role in my Granda's wellbeing towards the end of his life.
