Story
I have entered my first 5K race on the 22nd of October, this is at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire organised by the Rotary Club of Woodstock and Kidlington in aid of the Oxford Children's Hospital.
This is the culmination of my Couch to 5k training regime.
As Lia (my granddaughter) is having to raise £1400 towards her trip to New York (drama course related), I have decided to raise money for her by running this race.
I have bib number 2 and my son is entered with bib number 3, he has his own reasons for raising money but wanted to do this event with me.

7 years agoMy left knee has been playing up, can't run on it at the moment. Just ordered a support, ibuprofen gel and as much rest as possible so I can restart training!

7 years agoI had a week off from running last week, just too busy with family or too late home from work or just not running in the pouring rain! Anyway I'm back to it now. Work on speed this week, if you can call it that! Still looking for support if you can, either sponsorship or encouragement would be welcome. If I can do it maybe you can too. More soon.
