Thank you!!Venus is only 8 weeks old and the most friendly angora goat ever. She is our much loved pet and sadly broke her hock joint very badly. We can't bear to end her life when its only just begun. This little girl is a one in a million character, she follows us around, falls asleep on our laps. i think she now has quite a following at the vets. Our vets are trying to bring the costs down but we are struggling.

The vet X-rayed the joint today and gave us 3 options (1) to try to save her leg and see a specialist (this we feel would cost too much), (2) to amputate at a cost of £800 or to be put to sleep. We have had money donated by paypal so have reduced the target on here. Thank you! !

We have been trying to think of ways to raise the money and get her in on Monday morning for the amputation when friends suggested crowd funding. Venus is here with her gorgeous but shy twin brother. She came back today and is on painkillers and fell asleep on my lap in the car.
