In 2017 I plan to run the Belfast Marathon in order to raise some funds towards a special needs buggy and to build a sensory room for our son Jack.
In June 2009 Jack was diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome.

Angelman Syndrome is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by severe intellectual and developmental disability,
Sleep disturbance, seizures, jerky movements (especially hand-flapping), frequent laughter or smiling, and usually a happy demeanor.

Jack is a wonderful, loving and very caring 10 year old; like most Angelman children he has an infectious laugh and a real zest for a carry on and a chase.
He’s a very popular boy and loves to be around people. (Nosey)
Jack attends Ceara School in Lurgan and is now in Class 12.
People with AS are sometimes referred to as "angels", both because of the syndrome's name and because of their youthful, happy appearance.

A sensory room will provide Jack with a safe and fun environment and will aid in his development.
