My name is Charlotte I'm 19 years old and have been running animalmadhouse wildlife rehabilitation for 7 years.

Despite my age I have cared for thousands of animals since I started my work in 2010 including hedgehogs, garden birds, reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, large mammals and birds of prey. I have even raised a kitten and chicken chicks.

My aims are to rehabilitate and release wildlife or to prevent suffering.

In order to cope with the ever growing numbers of animals needing care, I need to build a new hospital in time for spring.

This new hospital will house casualties in ready built enclosures, cages and incubators. A sterile area will also be available for the treatment of sick animals, including tending to wounds, injections, bandaging and fluid therapy.

Storage space will also be included which will allow for more equipment and medications to be stored correctly meaning the treatments available will be more diverse.
