Story
Hi everyone,
Firstly thank you for taking the time to read this.
For those that don't know Jack was diagnosed with Diplegic Cerebral Palsy in October 2015. Since diagnosis Jack has & is still surprising us all with his strength & determination to be independent. It's come to the point now he wants to walk, he wants to join in with his friends at playtime & just wants to be independent but his disability is holding him back at the moment. Jack has been put on a list to see if he is a candidate for an operation called SDR (Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy) but we want to try other options to see if we can avoid this. We have looked into extra physiotherapy on top of what he currently has & a specialist trike for Jack to help him be more mobile but being specialist this seems to cost a lot more than your standard everyday costs!
If you would like to help Jack reach this milestone it would be life changing for him & help him join in all the everyday activities we all take for granted.

7 years agoAbsolutely overwhelmed with people's generosity having raised over Ā£1000 (online & offline) since Friday night...we can't thank you enough xxx This is what we plan to get for Jack with some of the donations, this will help with giving him another form of exercise / physio for his leg movements plus I'm sure he will look super cool cycling down the beach this summer too xxx
