Tameside Armed Services Community (TASC) are a not for profit organisation based in Tameside who work with the Council and ex-service personnel in delivery of the Armed Forces Covenant. There are 7500 ex-service personnel in Tameside and the Covenant aims to ensure that veterans aren't discriminated against due to their military service.
In order to mark the anniversary of seven years of the Armed Forces Covenant in Tameside and the three year anniversary of the formation of TASC we are entering a team in the Tour of Tameside in order to raise much needed funds. This team will comprise of Serving Reservists, A military veteran and the Armed Forces Covenant Officer for Tameside, covering the whole of the four day historic event between them, with a full spectrum of ability and experience.
