The Arrows Basketball Club are a basketball club with bases in Sheffield and North East Derbyshire that were formed in 1991.

The club were born out of an Abbeydale School Basketball Team that were crowned National Champions in 1991. Despite their struggles in their early formation, PE teacher and Coach Pete Kelly, along with a dedicated group of parental volunteers took the youngsters into the National League Basketball Scene.

Years on, the volunteer run club has evolved into a hub with a warm family vibe for all people from what ever background, race, gender and socio economic status to access basketball opportunities. The Arrows take youngsters through their doors as young as 4 years old and takes them through a basketball pathway right through to their adult years. In the upcoming 2017/18 season the club will be running no less than five National League teams, alongside a mini basketball team and recreational opportunities.

With the costs of competitions, registrations and sports hall hire on the rise, the Arrows club are looking for donations to help them continue their incredible work in creating opportunities for people to develop as basketball players and as people. The club are looking for members, both past and present, as well as generous donors to help in their cause.
