Young man tragically killed, leaving behind a young family.

Whilst on our brief family trip to Egypt, we went on an early morning balloon ride on 28.12.16. Got up at 4.30 a.m. & left for the dockside.
This really loud smiling chap brandishing a massive video camera met us at the docks.
Hussein introduced himself, as our cameraman & that he would be taking footage to compile a souvenir DVD of our ride.
A lovely chap, I think the highlight of the whole trip was watching Hussein run across the fields where we were landing, camera above his head, dodging water ditches and sugar cane plants, trying to get the best pictures. It was pure entertainment watching this young excited lad do his work…

Tragically, just after we landed Hussein was crossing the road when he got hit by a fast moving bus, and passed away shortly thereafter.

Everyone is in deep shock!

We visited his grieving family, who had buried Hussein after Asr prayers this afternoon.
Heartbreakingly, he leaves behind his young wife & six month old baby named Noor.
His distraught wife, child, widowed mother & his two sisters all live together in a small flat, in a village located right next to the airport, with a very basic standard of living.

The photo that I have shared with you, taken by Sarah (my wife), was the last image they will have of him with his body intact.

We left the family with a small amount of money (not much but probably a small fortune for them)
I would like to set up a fund to help the family out further. It obviously won't bring back a son, father, husband or brother but will help this young family who have now lost Hussein.

Certainly our plans brought us here, maybe in time to help this young family- & to be able to bring this message to you for your support.
