We run an Ofsted “Outstanding” local pre-school based in Pansanger, Welwyn Garden City for children aged two to four years old. The children love playing and learning outside, but unfortunately our garden is in urgent need of a facelift - current pre-school funding means we need to ask for help from the wider community.
We have been fortunate enough for a friend of the school to design us a beautiful space in which the children can play and explore nature.

If we reach our fundraising target, the garden will offer children an engaging and fascinating place to play for years to come. The garden plans have been designed to cater to children from a wide range of circumstances, including those with sensory and special educational needs. Not all of our children have access to a garden of their own, so this space will be extra special for them.

There will be areas for the children to explore nature and watch mini-beasts in action; a specially designed “barefoot sensory path” so children can feel the different textures of nature beneath their feet; a safe area for children to sit and read; a climbing frame and slide for the more active children; and teepees and benches for moments of quiet, and to develop friendships.

However big or small your donation, you will be a part of an amazing journey to enhance the lives of our children - the garden has been designed to be low maintenance and long-lasting, so you can be sure that whatever you’re able to give will benefit the children for many years to come.
