Story
Twins Enzo and Marcellus were born in June 2017. A short time after they were born, Enzo developed a bulging fontanelle. He was taken to doctors and a scan and MRI were carried out and Enzo had to be transferred urgently to Great Ormond Street Hospital in the United Kingdom.
Unfortunately, Enzo was diagnosed with a high grade Glioma (an aggressive, life threatening brain tumor)and needs to undertake a long period of treatment during which the family will need to stay in the UK and won’t be able to return home. It is envisaged that the stay in the UK will be for over a year due to complications Enzo has had surgery and treatment was started.
Doctors thought there was progress but unfortunately the treatment has not been successful and Enzo will have to have surgery again as the brain tumour has substantially increased in size.
The family also have 3 other children and whilst Enzo is receiving treatment in the UK, any extra help received will be greatly appreciated and used to cover living and travel expenses and also contribute to a fund which will be used for any treatment that may become available which we hope will help to cure Enzo.
Any funds left over, will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
