Barbara is a young mum, aged 35, with two teenage daughters as shown in the photo. She is currently suffering Frontal Temporal Lobe Dementia, this is very rare at such a young age. Barbara's husband fought for a long time to be heard by GP's, as nobody would listen. "Its depression", is what he was told, each and every time. However, after selling his car, he paid privately to been seen by a specialist, and eventually got the attention that was needed. A scan showed the true underlying issue.

Barbara has been lucky enough to be accepted to a Dementia specialist residential home in Botley. This is now going to be her home until the unfortunate day arrives that we will have to say goodbye. We are trying to prepare for this day in every way we can, so that it can be the best farewell her family can give her and always will be remembered.

For this reason, we have chosen to set up this page as a way of raising the necessary funds to provide the best possible send off for Barbara, for her daughters. This may not happen for a few years yet, however preparations need to be started as costs are forever rising.
