Story
I will be running (and walking) the Barcelona Marathon on the 11 March and will use this run as an opportunity to raise funds for two fantastic organisations in South Africa.
Moya Animal Outreach and St Francis Animal Rescue are two volunteer run organisations focusing on animal welfare in their local areas.
Moya Animal Outreach is based just outside of Plettenberg Bay supporting animals in the local area whilst St Francis Animal Rescue is based in St Francis Bay and focuses on helping dogs and cats in the Sea Vista township.
These two organisations rely solely on charitable donations to fund their work which includes neutering, giving vaccinations and food, treating injured dogs as well as re-homing dogs and cats.

6 years agoThank you to everyone who donated to these two wonderful causes. I completed the marathon as promised, slowly and painfully but hope to run another one later this year. I will send the money to both charities this evening and I'm sure that every penny will be put to great use. Thank you all again!
