Story
Ben was travelling on the M42 in March when he came across a vehicle that had crashed. He stopped on the hard shoulder to offer assistance. When Ben went to fetch a kit from his car he was struck by a car and thrown into the carriageway.
He has begun treatment but it will be challenging, he is a special constable from West Mercia Police and known for going that extra mile to help people.
Money raised will go to help Ben and his family adapt.
To show Ben that he is part of the larger police family, specials from Greater Manchester Police can donate just £1.00 if they wish.
