    Story

Billy is raising money to go on a cycle training camp in Mallorca in February 2018. He will ride up to Gospel Pass in the Black Mountains (the highest road in Wales) 19 times, which is the equivalent of the height of Mount Everest, by Christmas.

This year was Billys first year of cycle racing in the under 16's West Midlands Youth Circuit Series. Despite being one of the youngest riders he finished 24th out of 79. He rides for Herefordshire Cycling Club and is being coached by Jonty Williams of Spot-On Coaching. Many of the pro teams do their winter training in Mallorca and Billy has been invited to this February training camp with Jonty and a small group of other serious riders. He needs to raise £1000 to help cover the cost of flights, accommodation and coaching. His commitment and focus to his cycling are impressive and he already trains every day. This opportunity will bring on his natural talent and help him to work towards his goal of one day competing professionally.

Hi everyone, latest update: Getting closer to my target of 19 ascents. During the half-term week the weather was good so I managed to do 3 on Wednesday morning and another 3 on Friday morning with a PB on the last one for good measure. That takes my total now to 13, only 6 more to do before Christmas. Thanks for all of your support so far, really looking forward to going to Mallorca in February!
