Blackwell is our much loved 4 year old Great Dane that we adopted in March 2016. He came from Spain after his human Mum died. He is the biggest, softest, gentlest boy that you could ever meet.
He has just been diagnosed with leishmaniasis. I spoke to his insurance company to inform them of this, only to be told that they do not cover this condition and have cancelled his policy. They will not even cover him for accidents or bloat.
He needs more blood tests now to determine how severe it is and to start a treatment plan for him. We are asking for help towards the cost of this due to his insurance company writing him off.

The rescue that he came from have been in contact and they want to help Blackwell..............they have suggested that we gift him back to them so they can treat him !!
They want to take our ill boy from his loving, secure home and all he knows and not help us here with him........well that isn't going to happen. How cruel and heartless can they be ?
