We are running the Conwy Half Marathon on the 18th November raise money for BOB's Place - a CIC (10929658) that has been set up to support key issues:

HOMELESS PEOPLE – providing them with a safe place to go with the resources to help them change their lives (e.g. support with financial and life skills).

THE ELDERLY (55+) – Social isolation is a big issue for the elderly, to feel alone is a sad experience so BOB's place provide a welcoming place to meet and eat together (currently Tuesday 10-2 in the Carrbridge Community Centre - Carr Bridge Rd, Birkenhead, Wirral CH49 8EU).

YOUNG CHILDREN (4-11) – for children who are on free school dinners etc. BOB's place provides a lunch and sometimes even activities to ensure these children feel safe leading up to and during school holidays ... 2018 summer holidays lunches and fun

PEOPLE IN VULNERABLE CIRCUMSTANCES – BOB's place provides hampers for vulnerable people who have to choose between "heat or eat". They are hoping to provide sessions to support these people further i.e. how to budget, how to live in the real world and how to avoid debt before it starts but are desperate for volunteers.
