One of our vets, Sarah, received the shocking news in April that her son Stanley, has grade 4 neuroblastoma affecting his adrenal gland, liver, lungs and bone marrow. He faces a long journey or treatment, including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation therapy, immunotherapy and vitamin therapy.
Despite all this, his spirits remain high, and all his family and friends are going to help him beat it!
Boness Vets are raising money to help with his treatment; whether its' medical help or simply some more toys to keep him busy during his hospital stays.
During the month of June, we are doing 'Steps for Stanley'; each member of staff involved will be walking 10,000 steps a day. So, if we reach the target, we would have walked from west to east coast of the USA by the end of June!
