Story
The Renal Trust fund at New Cross Hospital helps to provide kidney patients with extra support that the NHS can't always provide.
I'm running my first ever 10K race in Wolverhampton to raise money for the fund. I will be joined by fellow kidney patients and some of nurses who cared for me when i was ill, and who helped make my transplant in 2015 possible.
The money raised will help improve the wellbeing of kidney patients who have yet to be as fortunate.
Thank You

I have lived with chronic kidney disease all of my adult life. They were slowly failing until they gave up altogether in 2013, resulting in 2 years of dialysis treatment. My life and health was transformed in 2015, with a kidney transplant, an amazing gift of life from my sister
