£20raised of £1,000 target by 2 supporters

Weʼve raised £20 to help fund a new disabled access toilet and baby changing facilities at Broomhill Library, Ipswich.

    Ipswich, Suffolk, United Kingdom
Funded on Monday, 11th June 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Broomhill Library is a well loved community hub in the heart of West Ipswich. Whether you are recently retired and looking to make new friends or a parent looking for somewhere fun to take your babies or children Broomhill Library has something to offer you.

What many people don't realise is that Suffolk Libraries are no-longer owned by Suffolk County Council and now rely on other funding streams to keep going.

If you enjoy using the library and want to help raise money for this worthy cause, just give a little or a lot and lets see what we can raise together to help provide the people who use this library with better facilities.

From the first moment I walked in and was greeted by David the library manager I knew this was a special place for the community. My whole family visit the library for singing groups, playing with lego and of course the books!
