Freda and I, have, over a past number of years supported the Suffolk Historic Churches Trust “Ride and Stride Event”

Our support has been sitting in our church meeting, greeting and checking in the participants whether they are walking, cycling and in some cases horse riding.

Following the last four years of poor health, I now feel fit enough to get a share of the action and will be entering the cycling category.

I have to admit that the means of my riding transport will be on my power assisted bike. However this does not detract from having to pedal, maybe getting a good soaking, (last year was one of the wettest events on record) suffering saddle sores and getting the usual ribald comments.
