Story
The Burgess Hill Theatre Club committee, cast and crew have been considering what is the right thing to do about the pantomime this weekend in light of the Omicron variant.
We have been proceeding with rehearsals and always knew that we may have to stop due to the impacts of the pandemic. We are at that point where, although cast and crew feel safe to proceed, are we doing the right thing by our audience, our community and the local NHS provision?
We regret that we have made the very hard decision to cancel the pantomime this weekend for everybody’s safety.
We will work with every ticket holder to ensure costs of tickets are refunded.. bear with us as we work through the process. But if, in your heart, you can support our club, we would be very grateful for your donations of the ticket price to enable future pantomimes and productions to take place.
Thank you to the Burgess Hill District Lions club for all their support and backing. And to you, our members, patrons, audience and supporters… The show must go on.. when it is safe to do so.
From us to you.. a safe and merry Christmas!
