Weʼve raised £789 to fund the Village Christmas tree and new lights

Story
For many years now Burnopfield has had a Christmas tree on the Brewery field in the village. This has been funded by donations from local businesses, the public and Burnopfield Partnership. The Partnership provide the lights and organises the event every year to bring people together to begin their Christmas celebrations. The underlying costs of public liability insurance, and siting and removal of the tree are now approx. £1400. The lights have now seen better days and we would like to upgrade them to LED lighting to give a better display.
We would like to make this event bigger and better in the future to make Burnopfield a community to be proud of. The Partnership also provides flower tubs throughout the village each year and would like to provide much more for the community.

8 years agoUp to £679.00 from go fund me donations we also have donations from raffle / race night and local businesses and councillor we are heading in the right direction if you can get your hand down the couch even a pound can help collection boxes in several locations in village for partnership event will be Saturday the 3rd of December 5pm Brewery field Consett Brass Band short service . Visit from Peppa Pig And George gift for the young children hope to see you all there please share

8 years agoThanks for all the great support we are half way there £619.00 on go fund me and donation direct from raffle and race night at Burton raising a further £501.31 giving us a total of £1120.31 Thanks to everyone who has sold raffle tickets and donated prizes and time
