I grew up in Alton but I’d never heard about Bushy Leaze, until my son wasn’t meeting his developmental milestones. I was advised to visit Bushy Leaze and what I saw was an amazing learning environment full of happy smiling children. My son had the most fantastic two years at Bushy Leaze. The staff gave him the best possible start to his life and education.

In 2017 I was lucky enough to become an early years practitioner at Bushy Leaze. It really is the most incredible place. All the staff give 100% every day to make sure each child has the best learning journey during those key early years. Unfortunately, like many other places, we have been affected by cuts. So what I want to do is raise some funds for the nursery.

I’ve never been keen on exercise, but in the last few years I have started to run. I’ve built up my miles and now I’ve decided to train for the London Virtual Marathon. Something I never thought I’d do is run 26.2 miles. I’m pulling on my running shoes hoping I can do this....!
