I've chosen to run the 5k to raise funds for Breast Cancer after my beautiful Mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last year and in loving memory of my Auntie Elaine, one of my Mums best friends, who tragically lost her courageous fight with the horrible disease in December 2016.

Early last year my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. It came as a devastating shock to the family. With great courage and strength my mum battled with her cancer and thankfully, my mum is now cancer free. The wonderful doctors and nurses at the Western General worked quickly and efficiently to treat my Mum. They made my Mum feel comfortable and gave her the support that she needed to remain strong in fighting her battle.

As much as I am running this for my Mum and in memory of Elaine I hope I can raise funds for all of those still fighting, in memory of all of those that are no longer with us and for the families of these people.

For obvious reasons it's a cause that is very close to my heart. If you can spare anything at all, I'd love to reach my target goal.
