I am fundraising for my trip to Livingstone, Zambia in summer 2018 with SKIP (Students for Kids International Projects). The money I raise will cover some of my expenses to be able to get me to Zambia as a volunteer to be able to work on the project next year.

SKIP (Students for Kids International Projects) is a national, entirely volunteer-led, charity with branches across 11 universities in the UK.

We teach topics relating to sexual education within 6 different schools in Livingstone, Zambia. We also educate and pass our knowledge onto the teachers, and run information sessions on STIs and HIV to womens’ groups. By educating children and women in these topics, we aim to increase people’s knowledge within the community, giving them the means of protecting themselves.

We aim to:

- Develop and maintain sustainable, community-based projects aimed at

improving the health, education and welfare of vulnerable children.

- Develop globally and culturally aware students who can advocate for

local and international health progress in the future.
