Story
The University of Cambridge's competitive cheerleading team, the Cambridge Cougars, are a hard-working, passionate group, with members doing a variety of degrees from medicine to languages.
For those who aren't familiar with competitive cheerleading, it is a high-energy mix of acrobatic stunting, gymnastics and dance. Cambridge Cougars had a successful 2016 season, placing 2nd, 3rd and 4th nationally.
However, cheerleading comes with a cost of approximately £300 per person per annum. We believe that no one should be unable to participate in a sport they enjoy due to lack of funds but sadly this is often the case. We currently receive no regular university funding and have to raise all our money via fundraising throughout the year.
To raise funds, we are doing a give away! Everyone who donates at least £2/$2 will be entered into a draw, with the winner receiving a personalised Cambridge Cougars T-shirt/a glittery Cambridge Cougars bow.
Please leave a name, and check our social media on the 30/10/2016 to see if you are lucky enough to win!
