My stepson was a normal happy, healthy, cheeky little boy. When he reached 7 years old our lives was turned upside down. He contracted an unknown virus that attacked his brain. To cut a very long and painful story short, he was given 48 hours to live. Thankfully he pulled through but has left him with severe intractable epilepsy and learning difficulties. He has been on all the medications possible and none of them have helped in any way he suffers painful seizures on a daily basis. This has been going on now for 14 years as he's nearly 22. He has no quality of life whatsoever. We have started him on the legal cbd oil backed his neurologist but the strength and dose we need to give him is so expensive. We are on benefits because we are full time carers and at our wits end as to how we can afford this oil. This is our last resort as we don't know where else to turn.
