Hey thank you for taking the time to read my story.

I am currently training to compete for Great Britain in Sports Ju Jitsu at the World Championships in October 2017 in Australia. I will be competing in the 58 - 68kg category governed by the http:wcjjo.orgworldjujitsucouncil.

My journey with the GB squad started in 2010 at the age of 16. Since then I have represented Great Britain 4x at 2 National Events and 2 World Championships (Andover 2013 and Geneva Switzerland 2015). In Switzerland 2015 I became world champion and hope to fight this year to continue my title as World Champion in October in Australia 2017.

Recently I have had a knee ACL reconstruction operation and have battling through physio and training to get myself match fit.

Last weekend was my first test since the operation where I competed at the British Nationals receiving a silver medal in sports ju jitsu and a silver medal in grappling. I hope to continue my success and compete in Australa at the World Championships.

This is a great opportunity and one that I may never have again!

The tournament,travel, accommodation, equipment and training are all self funded. Any sponsorship will be used solely to pay for any flights, accommodation, equipment and training cost associated with the sport.
