Story
I am running the New York Marathon on November 6th 2016. To do this has been an ambition of mine for over 30 years and I now have the chance to do it plus raise badly needed funds for my local branch of the RSPCA in North Somerset of which I am a Trustee. They help and find homes for many dogs, cats and other animals at their Animal Centre at Brent Knoll and all funding has to be raised locally.
I have completely self-funded my trip so every penny given with go directly to the branch to support their work.

8 years agoHi Training is going quite well. I ran with Ben Smith on his final marathon for his 401 challenge in Bristol on 5th October 2016 which was very enjoyable and also my last long run before the New York Marathon on 6th November 2016. Getting very real now!
