Sarah was dx with a rare form of anal skincancer in may 2015 the treatment that followed was chemotherapy and 38 sessions of radiotherapy. four months later the cancer returned and on 29 th Dec 2015 Sarah and Keith were told the cancer was in operable,the following day they received more devastating news that the cancer was terminal and had spread to her lungs
6 sessions of chemo followed in the hope the cancer could be contained, during this time Sarah won "the bay wedding" competition and had her dream wedding on 23rd April at abbey house, two days later it was back to chemotherapy.
august 2016 saw trials at the world reneowned christies in Manchester,unfortunately the trails had no effect and the prognosis stayed the same.
surgery to attach a stoma to allieviate Sarah's pain followed in November 16.
through all of this Sarah has never stopped smiling and being positive,her sense of humour is remarkable.
last Friday 17th February saw more devestating news, the cancer as spread to Sarah's brain and liver.
radiotherapy is planned to start in to start in the next few weeks to give Sarah as much time with her family as possible.
Sarah and Keith have been trying hard to sav for a family holiday to give Michaels as many fun filled unforgettablememories as possible.this is what matters most to Sarah above anything else.sarah is hoping to get to take him on a cruise,any donations to help make this dream come true would be hugely appreciated.
