Story
The Parents of Stracathro Primary School are raising funds in aid of one of their pupils and local young boy Carson Gallagher, aged 4.
It has recently been discovered, after suffering horrific headaches and being sent home from Nursery that Carson was suffering from a brain tumour. Which was quickly and successfully removed. However after numerous surgeries and more tests, the results showed Cancer was still present. He will now commence with a course of Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy.
We would like to raise funds to help support the family whilst Lynne Massie, mother of six, spends time in Edinburgh with Carson.
Charities CLIC Sargent and CCLASP have been taking good care of them whilst they spend time in Edinburgh and we would also like to support them by donating half of the funds we raise.
Aged 4, Carson has proved he is a proper little super hero and is taking everything in his stride, charming the nurses along the way. We are so proud of his strength and determination!

7 years agoWow, we are over half way there already! Thank you so much to all who has donated to Carson. Lynne is overwhelmed at everyone's generosity to her little superhero! Carson has completed his first week of Radiotherapy in Edinburgh. He is doing really well and the treatment hasn't phased him yet. Lynne says he is still the Carson we all know and love. The parents of Stracathro have planned a fundraiser tomorrow at Stracathro Hall from 11-4. We will look forward to Carson joining us and being around his family and friends.
