Cassius is 8. He is a beautiful, kind hearted, playful, bombastic child. Two years ago we discovered he has a congenital heart condition (severe pulmonary stenosis) which requires open heart surgery. We were told he would urgently need to have an operation to widen the pulmonary artery and probably replace the valve. One area of the heart has to pump extra hard to get the blood through the narrow artery and this over time, if left, will cause the heart muscle to thicken and cease to function. One of our main concerns is that once he has this surgery he will then need to have repeat operations every two years until adulthood as he outgrows the replacement valves.
Whilst awaiting surgery we took him to a wonderful bio-energy healer in London who treated him. When we took him back to the hospital for a scan, the doctors told us that he had dipped below the threshold of needing urgent surgery and to rebook another check up in 6 months. We have taken him for healing another 2 times since and still the doctors are willing to delay the surgery and monitor his progress for another year!!
The healer wanted to see Cassius again in Feb 2017 however we are struggling to gather the funds to pay for it and his visit is now overdue. I find it amazing and magical that this wonderful woman (Seka Nicolic) can help us to delay surgery for Cassius. Every month/year is a bonus for him. If any of you were willing to make a donation to help us to afford to take him to London for 5 days to receive the healing he is now due, we would be extremely grateful. But please really only if it's spare- i'm well aware that money is tight for many. And if not then if you could share this post for us that would be a great help in itself.
