Hello everyone
My name is Catherine and my Son Ollie who currently attends Halesbury Primary school in Halesowen, Westmidlands.
Ollie's school is a school for children with special and additional needs.
Ollie was diagnosed with Autism and mild learning difficulties early this year so that means he could not ideally attend a mainstream school.
Luckily for Ollie Halesbury primary school offered a place at Halesbury to start reception which means this has given us so much hope for Ollies future and being able to have special Educational requirements met.
Halesbury primary school rely alot on raising funds for special therapy groups such as music therapy, Bread therapy and many other groups which can help along with the childrens development.
Parents are also allowed to participate which is great as you can get the chance to enjoy the experience one on one with your child.
Without funding these groups can't always take place or not as often as we would like them to be.
Any donation big or small will be very much appreciated.
