after a few people suggested this to us im setting up this fundraising page to try to raise some money to give my dad and stepmam a well deserved weekend away!In the last 4 months they have been to hell and back firstly my dad lost his job and a week later after his wife louise discovered she had cancer of the esophaugus at 46 years old,this was discovered after having a routine examination!This was a huge shock to us all we were praying it could be cured but after a horrendus four week wait she was given the news that the cancer has spread and is terminal!As if it isnt bad enough dealing with this they are struggling financially as they have lost both there wages and couldnt afford critical illness insurance,im absolutly amazed at how strong they have been and would love to supprize them with little break away, louise is currently going through an 18 week intensive chemotherapy course,we dont know yet it it has helped but got everything possible crossed,this finishes the end of october so then would be a perfect time for a break away somewhere not to far maybe a nice spa hotel in the lakes, recently louise was really upset as she has always wanted to go to canada for hers and dads 25th wedding aniversary but unfortunatly she wont be her to see that so our ultimate goal would be to get them there but im not sure how possible it would be taking into account the traveling and insurances but nothing is imposible so im going to look into it but in the meantime i think a short break away in england would be perfect for them,louise is the most selfless person who rarely treats herself and would rather give to others,so we would like to give something back to her,it seems bad things always happen to good people life is just so unfair sometimes,thanks for reading my dad would actually kill me for doing this hes a very proud man so he must not find out as it would be such a lovely suprise for them
