Hi my names Chantelle, on the 16th of August I will be doing a skydive to raise money to purchase a basketball wheelchair which would enable me to improve and progress within the sport of wheelchair basketball. This wheelchair would be custom built to suit my needs. I was diagnosed with a degenerative condition called friedreich's ataxia at the age of 13. Over the last couple of years I have lost the ability to walk and am now dependent on a wheelchair. Myself and 4 others are doing this skydive in the hope of raising around £3000 towards this chair.
