Okay, so as some of you may know last Friday my boy cat who's only 2 was hit by a car. He is my best friend and therapy animal as i have autism. Luckily he has had no life threatening internal injuries. But he hasn't come away unscathed, he had 3 broken legs and a bad concussion. Too the point where his eyes where different sizes.
That settled after the weekend and he was stable enough to operate on. He's had to have pins in his thigh on the left side. A plate on his front right, there's a chance he still could end up with nerve damage and have to be an amputee. The ball in his hip was cracked and he has shattered the bone and well it was bone on bone but that wasn't as serious as the other breaks and he had surgery 7 days after the accident. He isn't out of the woods as it were and could still get ill.
PDSA Braunstone have been amazing with him! I can't tell you happy I am he's almost back to being a working cat again! Im over whelmed by the work they've done.
They have worked so hard to accommodate him and me as much as possible along the way. He's cost them well over two thousand pound to fix and that's only going to mount up more with his after care and check ups.
i want to say thank you to everyone who's helped me through this distressing time. Me, my mum and a couple of friends are clumping together to cover as much of the bill as possible. My aim is to cover over half if not then almost half would be amazing! That's why I'm doing this page. If everyone could just give a little towards the public target of £300 we'd have £1000 covered. I would love to know the PDSA Braunstone carry on help families and animals like me with my perci and the only way we can do that is by giving as much as possible. The PDSA gets no government funding and relies solely on donations. we've given bedding, food and money in the last week already but would love to carry on giving to this great cause.
