On Sunday 27 November, Charlotte is fundraising for Jack, a young friend of ours who has celebral palsy, is blind and has epilepsy. Even though Jack has more challenges to face than most, we enjoy a fantastic camping holiday with Jack, his big brother Connor, their parents and a group of our oldest friends each year. It's wonderful to see all our children growing up together and having fun with Jack.

Charlotte was determined to find a suitably big challenge! She is going to swim 800 metres for Jack - that's 32 lengths, which is nearly twice as far as she's ever swum before! We'll all be in the pool with her, cheering her along.

Jack's mum Sam says that a pair of specially made shorts with splints would help Jack's sleep at night, which is great news. If she raises enough, Charlotte would like to get football-crazy Connor a treat too, as he is so kind, patient and supportive to his little brother.
