We are raising funds to buy Tina her own wheelchair accessible vehicle. Tina has a condition called MS and was born with some of her fingers missing on both hands.This means that she is dependant on others for all her day to day needs including getting her from point A to point B in her wheelchair. Tina currently uses costly taxis to get her to medical appointments,meetings and family gatherings. When there are no taxis available on a particular day, Tina cannot go out and has to stay indoors. She also has to plan her days and activities around school run times to ensure she has transport available. Before her illness and despite her disability,Tina used to to work and travelled the world.She also had a passion for photography.

Tina is the glue that keeps the family together and misses out on significant family events due to limitations in transport.She will never let others know how disappointed this makes her feel ,not being able to be part of family events. Tina always remembers a birthday,anniversary or special event.She never asks and she never complains no matter how she feels.

Providing Tina with her own wheelchair accessible vehicle,will help give Tina some of her independence back,make it possible to be part of family events and enable her to once again explore her surroundings with her camera to keep her company!

The aim is to surprise Tina with her own vehicle when she celebrates her 50th Birthday milestone with those near and dear to her. It is also an opportunity for all to show her their appreciation of her in their lives and to thank her for the inspiration that she is to others both young and old.
