Kennedys Disease UK are a non profit organisation run by volunteers and sufferers.
There is only 1 centre carrying out vital research in the UK.
It's estimated that 1 in 40,000 people have this genetic defect & because it's relatively rare, KD is often initially misdiagnosed or goes undiagnosed for years! There is no cure for KD &I currently no treatment available, is only treated by Motor neurone disease medication.

This is very close to my heart, my best friends Dad unfortunately has Kennedy's Disease, they are all very special to me and are more like a second family. ❤️
So this is my reason to run!

My initial target is £1000 but this is an on going fundraising, every race I run I will be wearing and running for Kennedys Disease to help raise awareness and funds for a much needed cause! 😘
