Story
MANGOCHI DISTRICT HOSPITAL
Mangochi District Hospital Matenal Intergrated and Child health block was burnt on Sunday morning of 15th April 2018. The reports said that the cause of the fire was an electrical fault. The power was off for couple of hours prior to the hour of the fire. People from surrounding areas came together to extinguish the fire it took them an hour to control the fire using amateur means which prevented the fire from spreading to other buildings. Badly burnt, this building is the where expecting women and under 5 children get medical treatment.
My daughter was born at this very hospital. Having benefited from the services at facility myself when I was pregnant and post natal, I feel very compelled to help raising funds for the rebuilding effort.
Please join me in the effort to raise funds to rebuild the burnt block and buy the new required equipment for the community to continue to benefit from services this facility offers.
